The Rounding Rule
Your overall band is the average of the four sections, rounded to the nearest half or whole band score.
Scores ending in .25 round up to the next .5; scores ending in .75 round up to the next whole number.

Note: L=Listening, R=Reading, W=Writing, S=Speaking. The average is rounded to the nearest half or whole band.
Rounding Rules
Average ending in .25 → rounds down to .0
Example: 6.125 → 6.0
Average ending in .75 → rounds up to next .5
Example: 6.875 → 7.0
Quick Example: If your average is 6.625, it is rounded to 6.5. If it is 6.75, it is rounded to 7.0.
